Having studied Art & Design at Northampton School of Art in the sixties and after bringing up a family of five, I have now retired and happily live, and continue to paint, in beautiful Norfolk.
A keen member of Rollesby Art Group, my greatest love is watercolour, closely followed by pastels, pencils and soft and these media are expressed in landscapes, animals and flowers. I find that flowers from my garden are an endless inspiration to explore the delights of watercolour techniques.
I am also a keen photographer, taking numerous photographs of sailing boats captured in action on The Broads, which are then translated, mainly in watercolour, back in the studio.
My paintings are sold at Ramblers, Thurne and at local annual village art exhibitions around Norfolk.
I am available for commissions of boats, favourite pets, buildings and farm animals, taking reference photos whenever possible.
If you would like to commission a painting for a special place in your home or perhaps for a personal birthday gift, please contact me and I will get back to you as soon as possible to discuss things further.
